Hi everyone, welcome to my June Wrap-up!
This month I feel I did good, reading 6 books in total. I got my reading challenge from 26/60 to 32/60 and managed to get ahead by 3 books! I read a few books this month that I've been wanting to read for such a long time, aswell as 2 ARCS and a manga!

The Atlas Six
The Atlas Six is the first book of a magical dark academia novel written by Olivie Blake. In this dual POV fantasy, we follow 6 of the worlds best magicians as they compete against eachother to become one of the 5 who stay at the Alexandrian Society, whilst simultaneously working together to protect it. The Six discover some dark secrets along the way and must try their hardest to stop the plans at the Society.
I rated this book a 4/5 stars, as the characters were so easy to connect with, the story was so easy to follow, but was also slow paced and had long chapters in my opinion. It also took me a lot of time to get started, but once I hit around the quarter way mark I was invested in the story. My favourite character was Tristan, what about you?

A Court of Thorns and Roses
ACOTAR is one of the biggest novels worldwide and was written by Sarah J. Maas. In ACOTAR, we follow Feyre, a struggling hunter, who takes her chance at killing a wolf. After killing the wolf, she discovers that it was in fact a fearie and was taken to the Faerie world to live there as punishment. During her time in this world she begins to fall in love with her captor only to find out a curse has been put on the realm, one only she can break.
I obviously had to rate this amazing book a 5/5 stars! The characters are amazing, the plot is well written and keeps you reading, and the love story is captivating. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and get them on my bookshelf! I recommend to everyone!

Eve of Man
Eve of Man is the first book of Giovanna and Tom Fletchers dystopian, young adult novel. Eve is the first girl born in 50 years and has her life written out for her to save the world. In Eve's eyes, the world is perfect, but from the eyes of Bram, the son of the powerful man in control of eve, it's broken. Eve begins to rebel and teams up with Bram to save the world in her own way.
I rated this book a 5/5 stars because I feel like it was the most perfect book for me! The characters were well written with good backstories and lore, there was a bit of gore and darkeness but not too much to throw me off, the writing was easy to read and keep track of and it had such short chapters that it kept me reading for hours on end. I think I ended up reading this book in 2 days, so I definitely recommend!

Bitten by Hope
Bitten by Hope is the fourth and final instalment of the 'Vampire Genisis Chronicles' written by Lara Bronson. The series showcases time travel and paranormal romance, with a bit of spice. In this book specifically, we follow the main character Petra through time as she tries to save her daughter from being killed by her husband Gabriel, after an evil witch curses him.
I rated Bitten by Hope a 4/5 stars and the series as a whole a 4.9/5. The series was filled with romance, historically correct information of the 1400s, vampires and paranormal creatures and a good chunk of spice. I recommend to older teens and young adults.

Symbol of Hope
Symbol of hope is an amazingly romantic, but heartbreaking book, written by Amber Paige as her first novel! In symbol of hope we follow main character Alana as she finds out she is a princess at twelve years old. Alana is dragged away from her mother and best friend and is made to live life as heir to the throne in the palace. The day she left her best friend gifts her a necklace as a symbol of hope that he will some day rescue her from the castle. During her time in the castle, she was a victim of attempted murder, a malicious prince and a poisoner. Will she find out who tried to kill her bwfore time is up?
I rated this book a 4/5 stars, because it was such and easy read, filled with great characters, well kept secrets and a mystery to be discovered, although it can be predictable at points. I do recommend this book to older teens and adults as there are themes of sex and violence, but the book is not overly gory.

Levius/est
Levius/est is a steampunk themed manga written and illustrated by Haruisa Nakata. In the manga, we meet the main character Levius, his memoriless sister, his MMA teacher and his fake wife. In the book we found out that he has suffered a traumatic past and now fights using his prosthetic limbs. The story is set right after ww1 in a dystopian, war torn world, filled with secrets, lies and enemies.
I ended up rating Levius a 4/5 stars. I do enjoy reading manga but I always find the first manga is just like reading the first chapter of a book for me, but the writing and art was overall really great. Steampunk is definitely a style I love in many formats, like books, fashion and art so I was obviously going to like this manga!
