Bitten by Hope is the fourth and final book of the vampire genisis chronicles written by Lara Bronson. In this instalment, we start off in the psychics office before Petra gets thrown into the life of Gabriel before vampirism. With extreme guilt for Gabriel, Petra returns to Targoviste to make up with Gabriel after finding out about the prophecy. Gabriel and Petra make a plan to break the curse and get rid of Vedoma so they can live a happy life, but all doesn't go to plan.
Introduction
Wrapping up the Vampire Genisis Chronicles with, yet, another amazing book. At the end of last book I felt so angry with Gabriel, but this book gave me hope for his character and the continuation of their relationship and family. Seeing the hardships he had to face over the years was incredibly hard, having connected with him through all the books, and I found that I felt guilty with Petra. The spice, romance and fun continued despite the problems last book, which was enjoyable and gave a nice break from the issues the characters were facing, aswell as more humour added to lighten some situations. The action definitely stepped up, having scenes in and exploring the quantum realm with Athena and tense fight scenes with the many enemies Petra and Gabriel have managed to collect over the years, aswell as a completely shocking turn of events near the end of the book that had my jaw dropping to the floor. Some parts did confuse me and I felt they were quite paradoxy, but it could have been my misunderstanding on the situations and I do understand it can be hard to write time travel with all of the loopholes you can create. I ended up loving Gabriel's character again by the end of the book, aswell as Mei's strong opinions and stubbornness. The spoiler for new books to come was so exciting for me and I can't not wait to read them when they are available!

Pros
A nice wrap up to and amazing series, aswell as hints to the next novels in the same universe.
Redemption for Gabriel!
I loved the action scenes!
Cons
Some plot points felt paradoxy in my opinion.
Some of the scenes felt rushed.
Conclusion
To conclude, the fourth and final instalment to the series was amazing and had a perfect ending for me. I would absolutely recommend this whole series to teens and up, who love paranormal romance and time travel. I am going to give this book a 4/5 stars, because I did feel like the confusion brought the rating down for me, but the book was amazing overall! I rate the series as a whole a 4.9/5. It was amazing and I will reread in the future, but some minor parts were lacking for me. I cannot wait to see what Lara writes in the future and congratulations to you Lara for writing such a fab story!
